Services Building New Capabilities for the FutureAdaptive Edge creates high-impact training and learning experiences that are designed to build new capabilities that make organizations more resilience, adaptive, and sustainable in the present and future. Customized training programs are often developed in conjunction with a strategy or innovation project, which identifies the key competencies the organization needs for a successful future. Invariably this "key competency" is better strategic foresight and an ability to manage uncertainty or solve problems to adaptive and fast-changing areas. With greater systemic uncertainty, more decision-makers and managers need to be skilled in a qualitatively different kind of problem solving. Ronald Heifetz, a professor at Harvard and one of the more cogent scholars on leadership, has written much about adaptive leadership, and his work features strongly in these training programs. \
Adaptive Edge also works with other executive development providers. For example, Nicole Boyer is currently an adjunct professor at INSEAD and CEDEP, a leading business school and business education centre co-located in Fontainebleau outside of Paris. Within this context, she is working with like-minded colleagues within academia to reinvent management education to better met the needs of today is a key interest. Samples of her executive development programs are available upon request.
