
Jacob Park

Jacob Park is a storyteller, activist, and sustainability consultant who excels at using the power of social media to catalyze positive change. He spent ten years engaged in international human rights advocacy and progressive political activism before turning his attention to the intersection of sustainability and business. Along the way he has engaged in many other pursuits, from monitoring parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan to teaching literature in Paris to studying with the Zapatistas in Mexico. Most recently, Jacob was part of the initial team behind Carrotmob, a startup that uses online social networking to provide positive incentives for businesses to embrace sustainability.
Jacob has lived in New York, Chicago, Paris, and San Francisco. He earned a BA in French History from the University of Chicago and is currently pursuing an MBA in Sustainable Management at Presidio Graduate School. His personal interests include reading, hiking, sustainable deliciousness, urban exploration, filmmaking, and deipnosophy.
