fullarrow Leadership Development Programs customized to each organization
and context. Examples include:

  • Adaptive Leadership courses: What are the new capabilities needed to survive and thrive in the emerging future landscape? Inspired by the work of Harvard’s Ron Heifeitz and others, this course explores how to be a more adaptive and resourceful leader in uncertain times. While some classroom time is involved (2-3 modules), the emphasis is on learning-by-doing— on the job and in the field— and through personal coaching and peer support.

  • Future Accelerator learning journeys: These programs accelerate new thinking, mindsets, skills, and action within a team or stakeholder group. To do this, we take leaders into the field on an immersive learning journey—sometimes near, sometimes far— to discover the future in the present. These are always customized with clear strategic goals. They are also supported with a rigorous pedagogy and “future literacy” curriculum, i.e. knowledge about key drivers transforming their sector or industry. The benefits include: 1) a shared understanding of what the emerging future means for the organization 2) a pipeline of relevant ideas, innovations, and strategies to put in action 3) new leadership skills and capacities to be more adaptive and innovative in the face of change 4) deeper “social capital” within a team.

 

Note: These services are often the outcome of a consulting engagement, because they are an effective way to embed and diffuse the learning more broadly throughout the organization.
