FORESIGHT METHODS APPROACH FURTHER RESOURCES

OVERVIEW

Strategic foresight is new as a term, yet timeless as a practice - with many applications.

Our clients come to us with two types of needs:

  • Focused needs: assessing a specific long-term decision or uncertainty/risk. Or a preference for a particular foresight method (e.g. scenario planning, future mapping, training, speech, etc.)
  • Comprehensive needs: transforming an organization’s strategic direction, or managing a complex “adaptive” problem where the problem isn’t clearly defined or understood yet.

For clients who are clear on what they need, we have included a “menu” of our methods and practices which we provide à la carte. Of course this isn’t a comprehensive list, some methods are variations of each other, and they often used in combination.
