This is the blog of Nicole Boyer, which she started in October 2003, upon the suggestion of her software engineer husband who saw early on the import of social media. The blog’s intention is deliberately experimental; it’s a playing ground to experience first hand these new media tools, cultivate new ideas, think “out load”, and interactively learn from readers. The conceit behind the name: it’s a pun off the role of good foresight, which is to “extract the signal from the noise.”
